Two of the movies were directed by Philip Karlson, who also
directed THE PHENIX CITY STORY and THE BROTHERS RICO, among
others, and later directed WALKING TALL. Even more shocking,
the screenplay for one of the films was written by William
McGivern, who also wrote THE BIG HEAT and ODDS AGAINST
TOMORROW.
