Kills Coppers on my tbr shelves and will try to read it (or
fail to) - The Long Firm was much liked over here, but I
think I probably agree with Colin. Can I also recommend JJ
Connolly, Layer Cake, Duck Editions (as Duckworths seem to be
calling themselves these days) 2000, which I think is an
excellent book. Don't know if it reached the US - it's
written in first person criminal demotic, and American
publishers might feel it needed subtitles.
