>My car has a CD player but no tape deck,
I rely on my library for CDs so I can't answer that question,
just wanted to comment that if you've got access to tape
books at the library or elsewhere, it might be worth getting
a little boom box or what have you to set up on the carseat;
might be cheaper than buying CDs and expand your selection.
My brother, who used to work in car audio sales, also claims
that it's possible to get a device that you can plug a
walkman into that will play through your car radio. He claims
nobody at the electronics store will tell you about it
because it's a lot cheaper than getting a deck installed,
however if you go in and ask about it you may be able to find
someone to sell you one. I have no idea how reliable this
info is or how well the device works but I thought I'd pass
it on :)
