Bill Crider says: Can you write a great p.i. novel in third
person? The Maltese Falcon is third person. Case

first person is fine, but i actually prefer third person,
myself. its nice not to be cooped up inside one person's head
for the whole novel. its also easier to flesh out the other
characters.
