i've only read _the big sleep_, but i got _the long goodbye_
sitting on the shelf waiting. i was talking to a rare bird
recently, and he was recommending some titles, and he pointed
out one chandler novel and said that it was really poor. is
there general agreement that a particular novel he wrote
sucked? if yes, which one is it.
