While I pretty much think you've nailed the suckers to the
wall with your definitions of hard-boiled and noir (and
proudly plopped 'em on my site) how is BATMAN not
hard-boiled? Yeah, Bruce Wayne is a doofus, but then, that's
just the disguise -- Batman long ago became the real identity
of the man. And Batman is the real deal, particularly in the
last decade or so, post-Dark Knight.
A comic book fan like you, you must have reasons?
