forgot about that one because I don't have a copy on my
shelves.
I don't have a copy of that one, but if memory serves me
correctly, "A Flash of Green" is his first "big" novel and
maybe the first to hit the best seller list.
One memorable line--paraphrased--"If any other organism was
doing to earth what man is doing, we would consider it the
worst plague in the history of the planet."
(OK, I said it was paraphrased, and from memory yet.)
John D. was a great stylist, and he told a damn good story as
well.
