Okay, so Nestor Burma can fit, since he was translated for a
short while in England ! I could add Brigitte Aubert's
protagonist from "Death in the woods" ‹ I saw an English
edition of her novels. For the record, her narrator is blind
and mute, but a whole story ‹ a psycho stalking children ‹
revolves around her. Fascinating stuff ! She won the biggest
mystery prize in France for this one, and rightly so. On the
other hand, I don't know if Valerio Evangelisti or Andrea
Camillieri are translated in EnglishŠ
