its a nice idea but its entirely possible that the people
have dropped from the list for a bit of peace and quiet and
don't want to be bothered... i'd leave em alone. world won't
come crashing down on them just cuz they didn't get to vote
for the 100
(or 50 or whatever it is now) top hardboiled char-
acters.
