It's been a long time since I read the original Albany
trilogy, (how many are there now, five?) but I found the
other two to be a lot more fun to read. There's "Legs" about
the crook Legs Diamond and "Billy Phelan's Greatest Game"
about the shenanigans, arm-twisting and goings-on behind the
closed doors of Albany's political machine. Excellent reads
both.
