>I'm one who loved White Jazz and American
Tabloid
So it isn't just me? I am reading American Tabloid at the
moment - slowly - and sort of like it quite a lot - if you
see what I'm saying - but I am having awful problems with the
style, particularly the dialogue.
It feels like a foreign language with which I am
only fairly familiar.
I'd assumed it was because I've been in the UK
for so long. Maybe not?
Does anybody have a must-read suggestion for the second
Ellroy I try?
