Lee Horsely (spelled this way, I THINK) played Matt Houston
on the TV show of the same name in the mid-eighties, with the
gorgeous Pamela Hensley as his lawyer, C.J. That's almost
certainly who read
"Lonesome Dove," given his deep, Texan voice. He would have
been awfully young to play Archie in the 70's, but then
Archie was a young guy, so I don't know. I've never seen that
particular show.
I apologize if this information has already appeared
somewhere; I'm still working through my inbox.
