I agree that Such Men Are Dangerous should be put on top of
the pile, with Line of Fire just under it.
Although I can't say enough good about Crumley's first three
mysteries
(keep meaning to read the earlier One to Count Cadence), I
was greatly disappointed by Bordersnakes. It just seemed like
a rambling road novel. I will admit some probably see that as
its appeal.
