Actually, I just located a review at Tangled Web - I think my
concern was unwarranted. It appears that it's chockablock
full of goodies not available from the other "pulp"
collections. Other authors incl : Erle Stanley Gardner, Raoul
Whitfield, Frank Gruber, Roger Torrey, Frederic Brown, Bruce
Cassiday, Fred C Davis, B Fischer, Evan Hunter (separate to
McBain?). The Willeford contribution is a fragment of
uncompleted novel. Man, I am salivating & it ain't a
pretty sight.
