--for anybody who might be in London in July:
CRIME SCENE 2002
11-14 July at the National Film Theatre
This event has both movie and book tracks; the latter is
organised by Maxim Jakubowski of the Murder One Bookshop in
Charing Cross Road. (I attended last year and found it rather
eccentric - it seems to be too much of a one-man show to be
very balanced - but it was certainly directed toward noir and
hb work, especially but not entirely British; there were
several excellent panels; and of course the appropriate
films.)
The CWA newsletter says he is now looking for panel topics,
moderators and panellists.
