the Donald Harstad ELEVEN DAYS is a find. rural police
procedural with a folksy protagonist, written by a real cop.
his follow up KNOWN DEAD is also quite good.
Michael Connelly's LAST COYOTE is best appreciated after
reading the first three Bosch novels that immediately precede
it, BLACK ECHO, BLACK ICE and CONCRETE BLONDE.
