Is this the one by Howard Schoenfeld? If so, I remember it as
being goofy in a Shell Scott sort of way but not really a
parody. (The copy I have of it is one I got from you many
years ago, by the way.)
What about the Red Diamond books by Mark Schorr? They might
qualify as parodies.
