No, I wouldn't go that far. I am pointing out the moral
difference between allowing something to happen and being a
causal factor (hiring a hit man would be a causal factor, of
course). In a situation like murder, this difference can be
more difficult to see.
Please keep in mind that I am not agreeing with Spenser's
code; I just don't agree that Parker uses Hawk to do the
things Spenser is too squeamish to do.
