At last, a question about TWO authors to which I know the
answer off the top of my head. Mick shows up in OUT ON THE
CUTTING EDGE, a great Scudder novel, in the late 80s--1989 I
think, but don't hold me to it. Hawk shows up, as has been
mentioned, in PROMISED LAND, in 1976--well before Mick's
introduction.
I've said it before, but I recommend both of these books to
anyone who hasn't read them.
