George, All the early DKA novels sort of blur in my mind now.
They are pretty similar. 32 Cadillacs had the same characters
but is lighter in tone. Gores sayis it was based on a real
case, and meant as a tribute to the real life people he
worked with and used as models. His stand alone novels are
much darker than the DKA's
I haven't read his two most recent books, Cases and a DKA
novel, titled something like Stakeout on Page Street and
Other Cases. Both have been published in the last year or so.
Most of his other books should be pretty easy for you to
find. I see them in used book stores often. Mark
