I love Stephen Hunter's books. And as befitting work done by a film critic, find the action setpieces within them very cinematic as well. Some here look at this sort of thing as a negative. I don't.

And like Carrie, I enjoyed LAST MAN STANDING. I think when Walter Hill is left to his own devices, he makes interesting, noirish pictures.
