I went on it a couple of times when friends were visiting The
City. It's a great way to get acquainted with San Francisco
as well as with the locales Hammett used in his
fiction.
It starts out at the Main Branch of the SF Library
(where Hammett read and researched) and ends at the
"Brigid O'Shaughnessy/Miles Archer" plaque.
