Plots With Guns will have a guest editor choosing the content
for the January issue. Novelist Robert Skinner (Pale Shadow,
Blood to Drink) has agreed to do the honors, and we're glad
to have him on board. His Wesley Farrell novels, portraying
the New Orleans underworld of the 1930s and 40s, have earned
him critical attention and an Edgar nomination for Best First
Novel. He has also written critical works on Chester Himes
and other hard-boiled writers, and has edited several
anthology projects including a superb issue of the literary
magazine Louisiana Literature dedicated to crime writers from
that state.

In the meantime, the regular three amigos are still reading
for the November issue.
