I don't know the definitive story but from what I understand,
Lee Harvey Oswald saw "Suddenly" just days before Dallas, but
Sinatra was in no position to pull the film from circulation
(as in what circulation? Revival houses?) On "Manchurian
Candidate", theoretically he was a producer of some capacity
and was instrumental in yanking the film after Kennedy's
death. That's the rumour anyway. (sounds like there's a bit
of overlap going on)
But Carrie, you should definately dust off that video and
have a look. Sinatra is excellent and quite believable in
"Suddenly" and it's a taut, noirish little movie.
