This is pure nonsense. Chandler was born in the US, raised in
England, but lived and wrote his books in the US.
But remember that when Andrew Harris made his canon about the
American film directors, he included Sergei Eisenstein, Luis
Bu񵄬 and such. This seems to happen all the time.
