The Summer 2001 issue of The Mystery Review contains an
overview by George Demko entitled, "The Mystery of Mexico."
In discussing contemporary mystery writers, Demko refers to
Rolo Diez (winner of the Hammett Prize for 'Luna de
escarlata') as a "hard-boiled specialist." He also says that
Guillermo Zambrano has recently written two hard-noiled
novels.
Has anyone heard of these two authors? Were any of their
novels printed in English?
