Just picked up Moore's FROM HELL, his Jack the Ripper comic.
On the strength of his V FOR VENDETTA and WATCHMEN, I expect
to enjoy myself. TM

Alan Moore's superlative "V for Vendetta" is sort of
crime-ish definitely noir and probably hardboiled too. Anyway
if you haven't read it it would probably appeal to people on
the list.
