I mentioned a couple of these that I picked up the other day,
and mentioned that I rarely went wrong with them, even if the
author and/or title are unknown. Does anyone know why this
is? (Besides my odd tastes, I mean?)
I'm wondering if Fawcett did a good job with these because of
a particular editor or editors, or editorial policy, that
ensured high quality stories. In other words, was there
someone at Fawcett doing what Cap Shaw once did at Black
Mask? Anyone know?
