This whole strand has provided me with a good opportunity to
remind everyone on the list about "Drinking to Remember", a
one-act play which shows Dash Hammett dealing with 'da booze'
as a tee-total Ray Chandler looks on.
The play was running in London until last Sunday, but copies
of the script are always available to reputable
readers....
