Well, it was a "creative thesis" which meant I wrote my own
detective novel and then went back and looked how it fit in
the genre, plus a look at the growth of the genre. My plot
structure ended having a Ross MacDonald feel, while the
detective (Jackson Donne) was probably a cross between
Patrick Kenzie and Spenser. (*Now, I would like to be modest
and say I'm not good enough to reach the level of them) but
it was an interesting experience nontheless.
