Stark certainly didn't spring into my mind when I read the
book (a year or so ago). I thought it was a simple and not
very gripping revenge novel, written in the same age with
Garfield's "Death Wish" (which is superior to Block's book, I
think).
There was a film based on "Deadly Honeymoon". Anyone seen
it?
