I like River Girl myself, although my copy is now so brittle
I'm afraid to even look at it on the shelf, let alone re-read
it. For Williams in a different mood, The Diamond Bikini is a
lot of fun. But I'm still missing at least half of Williams'
books. Of all the major writers of his era -- and I'd rank
him pretty close to the top -- his stuff is damnded hard to
find. Even Peter Rabe's pb originals turn up more often,
although I've yet to happen across a copy of Benny Muscles
In. Now, if that book is half as cool as it's title...
