Frank Denton's review of Sallis's Himes bio is better (and
tells more about the book) than the one in the lastest issue
of the NYTBR. Robert Polito gets a full page for his review,
but it's really an essay with only a few references to the
actual book he's supposedly writing about. I guess Sallis
won't complain. It's great to get a full-page review.
