Jerome Charyn Certainly one of the original voices in the
HB/Noir novels of the 80's. His cycle with his NY cop Isaac
Sidel is probably the best place to discover him. However be
warned that Charyn's novels are slightly offbeat, full of
latent humor and warped reality (but not as extreme as Marc
Behm). And Charyn is a master in managing his own universe!
An unjustly forgotten author in the USA.
If you can find them go for: BLUE EYES MARILYN THE WILD THE
EDUCATION OF PATRICK SILVER
which are the first 3 Sidel novels.
