I've been reading volume 2 of Hunter S. Thompson's collected
letters (which I recommend). The name of his one-time mentor
and friend Lionel Olay, who died in the mid-1960s, comes up
in the letters. I think Olay might have written a couple of
Signet crime novels before he died. Has anyone read him? Are
the novels worth searching out?
Later....Kip
