RARA-AVIS: The Wasteland

Several years ago...I gotta think it was the late eighties, I found a comic version of T. S. Eliot's The Wasteland illustrated as a hardboiled detective story. I have no recollection who did the artwork. Does this ring a bell with anyone? I remember it giving a really cool spin on The Wasteland.
