Just a note to those who don't already know: Paul Benjamin
Auster wrote one (sorta) pseudonymous (more or less) straight
private eye novel, Squeeze Play as Paul Benjamin.
And the very short-lived Neon Lit series of graphic novels
began with an adaptation of Auster's City of Glass from the
New York trilogy. The second in the series was Barry
Gifford's Perdita Durango. Did the third, of Gresham's
Nightmare Alley ever come out? It was supposed to e adapted
by the very well suited Tom DeHaven.
