Richard Jessup's novel, 'The Cincinnati Kid', is IMO better
than the film. I picked my film-tie-in copy up in a
secondhand shop.
I seem to remember a novel by Ron Abell(?) called 'Tap City',
about a poker tournament in Las Vegas, that wasn't bad.
