My point is not so much that Larry writes crime novels but
that they do fit into the HB genre - sort of US southern
rural semi- gothic? (noirish undertones). Given that other
authors with an historical pedigree not directly dealing with
matters of cop's n robbers have been discussed
(Willeford, Jim Thompson, David Goodis etc) it struck me that
Brown's work was worthy of mention. Later.. Jim S
