RARA-AVIS: Robert Dietrich / John Baxter?

I recently finished ANGEL EYES by Robert Dietrich, and enjoyed a lot. Now, Dietrich was a pen name for E. Howard Hunt, but the Swedish edition I read was credited to John Baxter. What gives?
