Leaving aside the topic of the general quality of Ellison's
oeuvre, I will agree that his early hb stories are excellent
and relatively unknown. Check out a collection called
GENTLEMAN JUNKIE sometime -- I believe the original goes for
Big Bucks, but it was reissued in the Eighties (I
think).
