I do indeed have an Albert Stash. I'm the kind of guy who'll
even buy the novelization of WHAT'S NEW PUSSYCAT. My favorite
Albert books are probably the private-eye novels he wrote as
"Nick Quarry." Sure, they're disposable, but they're still
well done. The Stone Angel books are hard to beat for local
color, and I enjoyed them. Some of the "Al Conroy" books are
pretty good, too, like DEVIL IN DUNGAREES.
