I visited a used book store this afternoon and bought some
books. Money ran out and I had to leave behind Harold Q.
Masur's "The Big Money", which was, I believe, a first
edition from 1954. It was hardcover and by Simon and
Schuster. Is it worth buying for 30 marks
(app. five dollars)? The book was in a good condition, if not
very good.
I bought the translations of Chester Himes's "Blind Man with
a Gun" and Marvin Albert's "Stone Angel". I also bought a
Avenger reprint from the seventies by Kenneth Robeson, "Red
Moon". It's number 26. Was this by Lester Dent?
