Ron: MURDER OFF THE RACK, edited by Jon Breen, has essays on
Ed Lacy, Vin Packer, Jim Thompson, Harry Whittington (I wrote
this one), Marvin H. Albert, Charles Williams, Donald
Hamilton, Peter Rabe, The Executioner series, Warren Murphy
(rara-avian Dick Lochte wrote this one). It's a very short
book, about the length of a Gold Medal original, so if you're
looking for lots of pages for your bucks, this ain't the book
to buy. The quality, however, is outstanding. Well, at least
in two cases.
