A few weeks ago, a couple of people here mentioned Ray Ring's
ARIZONA KISS as an example of a noir book whose plot involved
dogfighting. Intrigued, I located a pristine first edition
hardback copy for $6 through bookfinder.com (which also just
happened to be the cheapest copy available), and I'm about
half the way through it -- and enjoying it very much. So,
thanks to those individuals who mentioned the book.
Now, are either of the two other books by Ring -- TELLURIDE
SMILE or PEREGRINE DREAM -- also to be recommended?
