I read the Atlantic article about Willeford, and think it's a
fine tribute. It's not a long in-depth piece, but it does
remind us of where today's weirdo Florida crime bestsellers
came from. And includes a further distinction, courtesy of
Tarantino, between "Noir", "Neo-noir",
"hard-boiled", and "modern crime writing"
