I love the book.
More like a big character study with some police procedural
stuff in it
(like you say, they are cops after all). But i'm splitting
hairs. How about WHITE JAZZ as police procedural? One cop,
runs through the case, still a big character study, but he
does what Anthony mentioned as far as messing up all the
procedures.
