I wish I could, as Paul suggests, give a succinct reason why
STREET 8 is a masterpiece, but I can't. I just know that I
read it when it came out in paper many years ago and was
struck by the quality of both the writing and the plotting.
And any book I can remember for that long is bound to be
worth reading, right?
