THE FRIENDS OF EDDIE COYLE is a masterpiece, in my opinion
one of the handful of truly great hardboiled books. I haven't
read the book, but I remember the movie of TAKING OF PELHAM
ONE TWO THREE was superb, so how bad could the book be?
