There was a film loosely inspired by Weegee style of life and
photos: The Public Eye (1992) Even with some defect in the
script, it's far better than what the critics were claiming
at the time of release. Joe Pesci is brilliant in that film
which is acceptable Noir, with a good story... Really
underrated.
Now, for Weegee's "live" street and crime photos there are
enough books publishing anthologies of them, and giving an
excellent idea about the work of this exceptional
photographer ( for those here not knowing him well). He's
HB... no doubt about this. And Noir...
